TEACHING AND LEARNING PROFESSSIONAL (TLP) CREDENTIAL : COMPUTER-BASED TEST
Requirements: 35 contact hours in teaching and learning education, 1000 hours of teaching experience, a masters degree, and passing a four-hour test on the content of the Teaching and Learning Body of Knowledge. This professional credential certifies that one has demonstrated the appropriate education, the appropriate professional experience; passed a rigorous examination; and committed to maintaining continuing certification requirements. A printed copy of the TALBOK™ Guide to the certification test is included with registration.

Description: An introduction to the Teaching and Learning Body of Knowledge which presents the concepts and organization of the Body of Knowledge - This is a self-paced online training that combines text documentation, audio-visual components, hands-on exercises and assessments to promote a highly interactive learning experience.
35 contact hours
Description: A face-to-face training seminar with comprehensive coverage of the Teaching and Learning Body of Knowledge with an emphasis on hands-on exercises presented in the TALBOK™ WORKBOOK. The seminar offers ample opportunities for constructivist learning.
36 contact hours + action plan follow-up
Description: A face-to-face training seminar with comprehensive coverage of the content, teaching techniques, practical demonstrations, and action plan according to the TALBOK™ TRAINER WORKBOOK. The focus in on training trainers who will develop their own training seminars using the TALBOK™ WORKBOOK.
Description: Composed of a series of training modules each of which focuses on a specific knowledge area from the Teaching and Learning Body of Knowledge. The program is delivered in a seven-week online format with a focus on project-based learning. It blends face-to-face training, online self-paced training, online synchronous and asynchronous interactions between instructor and participants. It is delivered by our licensed partners.
